PADI Seal Team

What is it?

The PADI Seal Team Program is an exciting pool based, underwater, activity-filled introduction to the world of diving for children from eight years old. The program gives children a chance to swim underwater and experience adventure, discovery and thrills. It also provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic realm and have lots of fun.

Who can take part?

Participants must be at least 8 years old, must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.

What does the course involve?

Children initially complete five “aquamissions” which develop fundamental scuba skills and knowledge. They will learn about diving by watching the PADI Seal Team DVD, through the PADI Seal Team Aquamission activity book and during pre-dive briefings with their PADI Instructor. Each of the first five aquamissions consists of a briefing, a skill session and then games or activities. Completing the pool dive and answering questions in their PADI Seal Team Aquamission Logbooks earns young divers an Aquamission Decal. Finishing Aquamissions 1-5 means youngsters become Seal Team Members and receive a Seal Team Member Card and wall certificate recognising their accomplishments.

When Can We Do It?

Sessions run on a Thursday night in Harrogate and a Wednesday night in Stamford Bridge (2nd and 4th Wednesday of the momth). Have a look at the course calendar for next start dates.
