The Open Water Diver course is a globally recognised certification program that combines personalised training with in-water practice sessions to comfortably introduce you to scuba diving

• Online Learning:

  • Begin your scuba journey by accessing digital resources. These online modules cover essential theoretical knowledge, including dive physics, equipment, safety procedures, and environmental awareness.

  • You’ll learn at your own pace, absorbing information about buoyancy, pressure, and underwater ecosystems.

• Confined Water Sessions:

  • Once you’ve grasped the theory, it’s time to get hands-on. These sessions take place in the swimming pool.

  • Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll practice fundamental skills:

    • Assembling and adjusting scuba gear.

    • Clearing water from your mask.

    • Regulator recovery (finding your air source).

    • Buoyancy control.

    • Emergency procedures.

  • These confined water dives build your confidence and ensure you’re comfortable with the equipment.

• Open Water Dives: 

  • Now, the real adventure begins! You’ll head to open water to conduct your open water dives.

  • During four open water dives, you’ll apply what you’ve learned:

    • Descend to depths of up to 18 meters (59 feet).

    • Navigate underwater.

    • Practice buoyancy control in real-world conditions.

    • Explore marine life.

    • Perform safety drills.

  • Your instructor will be right there, ensuring your safety and providing feedback.

• Certification:

  • Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive your Open Water Diver certification.

  • Remember, this certification allows you to dive with a buddy, so you’re ready for underwater adventures!
