Who can take part?
To enrol on the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you must have the PADI Open Water Diver qualification or equivalent qualification from another organisation. Divers between the ages of 12 and 14 will receive the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver qualification.
What does the course involve?

Knowledge Development, to understand what each adventure dive entails

5 Open Water Dives, Navigation and deep are compulsory, you can then chose 3 further dives

If you select the drysuit dive, a drysuit orientation will be conducted in the pool prior to open water training at no extra cost.
How long will it take?
The dives are normally conducted over two Saturdays. Options for completing the course dive by dive are also available. If completing a drysuit adventure dive you will also complete a pool training session. There will be some home study.
How do I book a course?
We have courses running regularly throughout the year. To book your place on the next course all we need is a £100 deposit. This will secure a place and we will enrol you for your eLearning code. You can email us on or call us if you have any further questions.
