Scuba Divers
Media

Photography: Ask permission before taking photos or videos of others.

Equipment Care

Check your kit before every session.

Rinse and return club equipment neatly after use.

Pool Etiquette

Enter and exit the pool calmly and safely.

Keep to designated training areas and respect lane discipline.

Avoid unnecessary splashing or rapid movements that disrupt training.

Be aware of other pool users and share space respectfully.

Keep the poolside clear of clutter and trip hazards.
Safety & Responsibility

Follow all instructions from Overland Underwater instructors and dive leaders.

Complete required medical forms honestly and update us if anything changes.

Use appropriate, well‑maintained scuba equipment for every session.

Never enter the water without permission from the session lead.

Maintain good buoyancy control to protect yourself, others, and the environment.

Report any concerns, discomfort, or equipment issues immediately.
Freedivers

Keep noise and splashing to a minimum.

Give other divers space during dives, turns, and breath‑holds.
Safety & Responsibility

Always follow instructions from Overland Underwater instructors and safety divers.

No solo diving or breath‑holds — the buddy system is mandatory.
-
Train within your limits; no forced performances or competitive pressure.
-
No hyperventilation or unsafe breath‑up techniques.
-
Use proper surface recovery breathing after every dive.
-
Report any discomfort, anxiety, or unsafe behaviour immediately.
