SSI Open Water Instructor Course
To enrol in the SSI Open Water Instructor Course, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Hold the SSI Assistant Instructor rating
(or equivalent from another recognised agency) - Have at least 75 logged dives
(100 dives required for certification) - Hold current certifications in:
- Diver Stress & Rescue (or equivalent)
- First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Provider (within the last 24 months)
- Be medically fit to dive
