Online Learning

Begin your journey by accessing comprehensive digital resources. These online modules cover essential theoretical knowledge, such as:

  • Recognising diver stress and its causes.

  • Understanding emergency procedures.

  • Effective rescue techniques and teamwork.

 

You’ll learn at your own pace, gaining insight into how to manage stress and respond to various underwater challenges.

 

Confined Water Sessions

Once you’ve mastered the theory, it’s time to practice in a controlled environment like a swimming pool.

  • Under the supervision of your instructor, you’ll develop fundamental rescue skills, including:
    • Assisting a panicked diver.

    • Bringing an unresponsive diver to the surface.

    • Administering rescue breaths in the water.

    • Managing equipment-related issues.

 

These sessions build your confidence and prepare you for handling real-world scenarios effectively.

 

Open Water Dives 

The real test begins in open water! You’ll participate in a series of rescue exercises designed to simulate real-life emergencies.

During these scenarios, you’ll:

  • Search for missing divers.

  • Perform in-water rescues of unresponsive divers.

  • Execute self-rescue techniques.

  • Manage emergency situations involving multiple divers.

 

Your instructor will guide you through each scenario, ensuring safety and providing constructive feedback.

 

Certification

Upon successful completion of the Stress and Rescue Diver course, you’ll earn a certification that demonstrates your ability to handle diving-related emergencies confidently and effectively.
